What time is check-in/check-out? Check-in is after 3:00 pm and Check-out is by 11:00 am. Please call to make arrangements if for any reason you find you cannot arrive by 9 pm.
What is the minimum age requirement to check into the room? 21
Do guests have private bathrooms? Yes! All rooms have private baths and personal climate control heating & air conditioning.
Are children allowed? Elmwood House is not appropriate for children due to the outdoor stairs.
Is smoking allowed? Elmwood House is Non-Smoking (including cigarettes, cigars, pipes, e-cigarettes, or vaping). Smoking is allowed outside in the ground level courtyards.
Are pets allowed? In consideration of our other guests, we do not allow pets.
Is the property disabled accessible? Elmwood House is a historic building and unfortunately due to the stairs, inside and outside, it is not disabled accessible.
Are we allowed to have visitors at Elmwood House? At this time, due to the COVID-19 outbreak, we are only allowing registered guest to be at Elmwood House for the safety of all our guests and social distancing.
Reservations
What is the deposit policy? A one-night deposit is required to make your reservation.
What is the cancellation policy? Cancellations must be made 7 days in advance.
Is there a fee for early departure? Yes, the 7 day cancellation policy applies.
Is a credit card required to make a reservation? Yes, it is required to make a reservation.
I booked on a website other than the hotel’s website. How do I cancel or change my reservation? You have to contact the website you used to make your reservation.
How many people are allowed to stay in the room? Room rates are based on single and double occupancy. We have a guest courtesy policy for excessive noise after 10 pm, in consideration of all our guests. If needed, a request will made to lower the noise level. Two requests may result in the guest being told to leave the property without a refund.
What is the sales tax rate? 14.375% (lodging, state, county & city)
Managers live one block off-site, but are available 24 hours a day by phone 479-981-2284 for questions, concerns, & emergencies.
